Mike has a wife and 3 kids (ages 11-5). The oldest, his only
daughter, is quickly approaching the teen years both in age and attitude (ha).
Mike met his wife in AZ when he was stationed there in the Marine Corp. He was
in that branch of the military for 13 years before going into driving as a
civilian. He got his start driving for an oil rig company near Laredo, TX, but
moved back home when the work dried up. He then drove for Schneider OTR and
actually hauled loads for the Home Depot out of the RDC in Monroe.
He wanted
more home-time and switched to the good guys by joining JB Hunt Dedicated late
in 2015. Mike doesn’t necessarily dislike driving, but really doesn’t like when
others act crazy behind the wheel when sharing the road with them.
