Warchol Changes Colors

In the Warchol Region, they do whatever it takes to make our customers happy.  This includes abandoning and completely turning your back on your Alma Mater Ohio State.  In a recent visit to Southern States in Winchester, KY, Anthony is caught sporting Penn State gear provided by our Client Rich Sladic.  Thanks for the pic Rich!

Tears Shed at Marco's

Adam Stampfer has been in Maumee, OH for the better part of 3 months supporting our customer at Marco's Pizza Distribution.  During this time, we have seen our Driver Turnover and Customer Service Stabilize.  With the recent addition of our new Account Manager Andrew Ferguson, Adam will be transitioning out of the day to day operations.  Adam will be back in Louisville starting next week where he can be close to his wife.  Adam and Taylor are expecting their first child in March.

Marco's recently threw a going away party for Adam in appreciation for his service on the account.  Adam should look tight walking around Louisville in that Marco's Polo!  Job Well Done Adam!

Western Kentucky University Career Fair

Recently, Team Warchol participated in a Career Fair at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.  As a region, we have had good success in recruiting from this University in the past.  It was founded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky back in 1906, though its roots reach back a quarter-century earlier.  WKU has a student body of over 21,000 students and its Mascot is Big Red.

Above, WKU Alumni Jonathan Brand and Nick Van Hooser talk to potential candidates about why Bobby Petrino would ever want to leave to go back to Louisville.

Congratulations to Robia Rose for Central Region Driver of the Month for January

When you think of a "do it all" driver Robia Rose is the first driver that you think of. Robia is always willing to do anything that is asked of her and is always willing to help anyone in anyway she can. When she comes in the office she always ask, "do you need any help or does any other account need help". Her openness to help with just about anything and do it safely speaks volumes about her and how valuable she is to the account and the region.

In her short time with the company she has provided support to various accounts in the region, including some of the more difficult accounts like Family Dollar and OVACO. Robia has stated that the physical labor at Family Dollar is not a problem for her, she just wants to help and do a good job. With all the jobs she has done for Toyota Hebron as well as all of the other accounts she as helped makes her top notch!

Robia is always safe and professional in everything she does. She has a clean safety record and for the month of January her RAIR numbers are just as good! For all of her hard work she deserves to be January 2014 Driver of the Month!

Congratulations for a job well done Robia!

Congratulations on Retirement Leonard Walton!

Leonard Walton celebrated his 10 year anniversary with JB Hunt last year.  Leonard has had a stellar career with JB Hunt and will be retiring this February.  Below are some highlights on Leonard:
Transferred over from Archway Cookies account out of Ashland, OH
Before he was with us, Leonard drove for over 30 years and owned his own truck
Was our January 2013 OM Driver of the month
Helped out with driver training and was "go to" trainer for anyone running outbound from The Limited to Atlanta, GA
Leonard was always an office favorite due to his outgoing personality and his willingness to share his opinions no matter what the situation.  We wish him the best of luck as he moves forward to the next stage of his life.

"Even in my short tenure with Leonard, he has been a pleasure to work with. Leonard was a great driver for us over here for a long time. He embraced JB Hunt's culture and it was seen through his strong work ethic. Leonard was never short on anything to add to a conversation. His quick wit will be missed, as I'm sure all previous managers can recall. We wish him the best and thank him for his work and dedication to his job."
Thank you, John Goodwin & Michael Jackson
