On Monday 3/2/2015, Home Depot Van Buren held a Driver Trainer Round Table/Training Session. Area Risk Manager Tracy Walker presented on characteristics of the Driver Trainer position as well as shared Collision, Injury and CSA data from the account to help the trainers understand areas to focus on with the new hires. This was followed up with the trainers participating in the Account Specific Training class with the new hires they will be working with. This day of training our Driver Trainers will help them understand the expectations of the position as well as improve their knowledge of the material being reviewed by office staff. Operations Manager Curt Conlon was on hand to welcome the new hires to the account and share some key elements on having a successful career with JB Hunt. Transportation General Manager Sam Djung, Account Manager Joe Nagle and Operations Supervisor Jeremy Messing lead the new hire AST. Great team effort by all putting this class together and those behind the scenes holding down the fort while the training was in progress.
