Dustin Hatfield (Area Risk Manager) rode with Mark Troxell, Professional Driver at The Limited Brands earlier this week. Here is what he learned.
Mark got started driving about five years ago, after he made a
career change due to downsizing at the Longaberger Basket Company (ask your
wives, they will know that brand) where he had previously worked. Mark is
originally from Columbus but mentioned that he moved around a lot when he was
younger due to his father being in the Air Force.
He’s a proud father which was
evident as he mentioned his daughter numerous times on the trip. Mark also
enjoys riding his Yamaha V-Star and mentioned that he’s wanting to get back
into hunting and fishing more to enjoy his time off. Mark struck me as being
very forward thinking as he discussed taking advantage of JB Hunt’s 401k match
to get the free additional money being put into his retirement savings.
