Soft-Lite Operations Supervisor Sue Mateo hosted a Driver
Appreciation Picnic on September 10th at Plum Creek Park in Kent,
Ohio for both the Soft-Lite and Central Farm & Garden team drivers.
Rain held off and it ended up being a beautiful day. Drivers and their families
arrived ready to eat a menu consisting of Smoked Brisket, Sausage &
Peppers, Cheese Potatoes, Corn Bread, Bake Beans, Fruit Salad and can’t forget
desert cupcakes and brownies. Kids enjoyed their goodie bags they all
received and drivers got to partake in a Chinese Auction with prizes like 1
gallon dry vac, cleaning basket with seat organizer, 12 volt cooler, and a
family game night basket. We had a great turn out and the drivers enjoyed
discussing Safety with our ARM Rich Schwartz and hanging out with Central Farm
& Garden Account Manager Andrew Vincent.
