Congratulations to Jason Roaden for winning the June Driver of the Month Award for the Central Region. Below is the writeup from OM Brian Tabor:
Jason is deserving this award because you simply could not ask for a better driver. He is willing to do anything and everything that is asked of him. In my 3 years working with Jason, he never once told me "no"
It is not only the fact that Jason is willing to do anything... but he performs flawlessly. Jason has helped so many different accounts over the last couple years that I can't speak for all of them. I can say that he has never had a service failure while working for the Home Depot account. Based on how highly other accounts have talked about him, I would be pretty confident in saying that Jason has never had a service failure since coming to DCS. Just in line with his service performance, he has an incredible safety record. Jason has 0 preventable collisions and injuries over the last 3 years
Move to missing logs and DVIR's and Jason has none. Look at his fuel performance and he has the 2nd highest MPG on the fleet at 7.42. When Jason is working for Home Depot, his fuel compliance is 100%. His 12 week average total idle time is 7.7%. Move on to his utilization... If you take out the week he was helping another account, he was averaging 3522 miles each week.
Jason is also the "go to" driver thru out the DCS Central Region for special projects. In June, he was tasked with helping Marco's Pizza with a new store opening in NC. Jason did a great job helping the grand opening and it's festivies. Jason helped setup the event and did whatever was asked of him. Below is an e-mail sent to Andrew Deblock (Region VP) from Marco's GM (Tony Romano).

I apologize for the lateness in saying Thank You for supplying a driver to participate in the Marco’s 500th store opening. Your willingness to be part of this special event truly represents Partnership with the Marco’s Brand. I understand from the driver that the opening went very well and he was able to assist with the event.
